It has Side Imaging technology, which gives you an 180° side-to-side perspective of the fish and structure under the boat. It also has Down Imaging, providing crystal clear images of the water contents directly under the boat, and excellent feature for down-dropping, sea or lake fishing. Its depth penetration goes up to 1,500 ft. or even up to 3,000 ft., if upgraded with a deepwater transducer. SI and DI depth capability goes up to 150 ft. This fish finder is also upgradable with 360 Imaging.
The standard transducer of this unit is the Transom XNT 9 SI 180 T.
The navigational capabilities of the 899ci HD SI Combo include Precision GPS antenna built-in the head unit. It has the ContourXD cartography package, which gives you access to over 3,000 US lakes, displayed with their depth contour. It also supports Lakemaster and Navionics Gold and HotMaps upgrades, having dual card slots. It can store up to 2,750 waypoints, 45 routes and 50 tracks (20,000 each). Although it does not come with NMEA2000 and Radar2, these are options supported by this unit.
