The Hummingbird Fish Finder 345c DI is one of the new fish finders endowed with Down Imaging. It’s a small but performant unit.
Although it doesn’t have chartplotting, GPS or any other navigational features, this unit surely does its job when it comes to locating fish and measuring depth. The electronic unit, has a 320 x 240 pixel resolution screen, 3.5 inch wide, full color and with LED backlight which makes it very readable even in direct sunlight or at night.
You can observe the information caught by the transducer in SwitchFire or in Down Imaging mode, and the second one will provide you with a much clearer image of what’s under the boat. Also, you can observe both returns in split screen if you desire.
The Hummingbird Fish Finder 345c DI has Dual Beam Plus sonar like most of the superior Hummingbird Fish Finders. This means you can observe the bottom and the underwater environment in two modes: a view caught by 25° sonic beam, and a more concentrated view caught by a 16° beam. The sonar works fine in waters up to 600 ft. deep. Also, you should be able to benefit from clear images in Down Imaging in waters up to 250 ft.
This fish finder has a power output of 4000 Watts PTP. Also, just like any other Hummingbird fish finder it comes with a one year warranty.
