The Humminbird ONIX10ci NT SI Combo is a fish finder and chartplotter, featuring HD Side Imaging Sonar, HD Down Imaging Sonar, Digital Signal Processing, a fast and accurate internal GPS, also being equipped with the TriFuel charts. This unit includes the XT 14 20 HDSI T transom transducer.
If you want a Humminbird ONIX unit and you want to save a bundle on it, there’s good news for you! Humminbird has launched at the beginning of this year several, more affordable units, the ONIX NTs (non-tactile) models, which don’t incorporate the CrossTouch technology. Evidently, this cuts a considerable chunk from each unit’s price, but without actually leaving out any sonar and navigation features.
The ONIX8ci NT Combo is one of these new units. It’s not much different
The ONIX8ci Combo is almost identical to the ONIX8ci SI Combo, but lacks the Side Imaging and Down Imaging technology. Apart from that, it’s quite a versatile fish finder / chartplotter, just as the other units within the ONIX series.
It has the 8.4-inch diagonal TouchScreen display, with a pixel resolution of 1024H X 768V, full color TFT and backlit. Has a power output of 500 Watts RMS (4,000 Watts PTP), but can reach 1,000 Watts RMS (8,000 Watts PTP) with an optional 50 kHz deepwater transducer.
It’s equipped with a 10.4-inch display, LED backlit, full color TFT, with a 1024H x 768V pixel resolution, and of course, TouchScreen technology just as the other ONIX series fish finders, which makes it operable as a tablet or smartphone.
