Humminbird 1199ci HD SI Combo

The Humminbird 1199ci HD SI Combo is the most performant fish finder / chartplotter without touchscreen technology at the moment. It’s the unit that actually replaces the 1198c SI Combo model. Although its price may be a little bit spicy, it does offer a wide array of features and upgrade options as well.

First of all, it has quite a wide screen, with a 10.4-inch diagonal, 800H X 600V pixel resolution, brilliant color with a display colors scale of 65,000 colors. It also has backlight, which makes its readability excellent in direct sunlight or during night. It has HD Side Imaging and Down Imaging, features that take the fish finding to a superior level.

In terms of sonar capabilities, the 1199ci HD SI Combo is equipped with Dual Beam Plus sonar with SwitchFire, which makes it operable at 20° / 200 kHz or 60° / 83 kHz. The Side Imaging sonar can cover an area of 480 ft. (240 ft. on each side of the boat) operable on 2 frequencies – 455 kHz or 800 kHz – with a coverage of 86° (on each side). The Down Imaging sonar also has 2 operable modes: 75° / 455 kHz or 45° / 800 kHz. The 1199ci HD SI Combo can be upgraded with a QuadraBeam Plus sonar, and it also supports 360 Imaging sonar.

The standard depth capability of the 1199ci HD SI Combo is 1500 ft. and 150 ft. for the Side Imaging and Down Imaging. However, there’s the possibility to upgrade it with a 50 kHz sonar for deep water use, which will increase its capability to 3000 ft. The stantard power output of this unit is 500 Watts (RMS) / 4000 Watts (PTP), but with the extra transducer, it can reach 1000 Watts (RMS) / 8000 Watts (PTP). The standard transducer of this unit is a Transom XHS 9 HDSI 180 T.

Regarding the navigational capabilities of the 1199ci HD SI Combo, this unit built in precision GPS antenna and HD Radar. Comes with the ContourXD cartography package, but it also supports Navionics Platinum+ and Gold/Hotmaps, and LakeMaster, having dual SD card slots. Its memory can store up to 2750 waypoints, 45 routes and 50 tracks (20,000 points each). Radar2, iPilotLink and NMEA2000 are not included, but are also supported by this unit.

Last but not least, the box of the Humminbird 1199ci HD SI Combo includes unit cover and In-Dash Mounting Kit.
